You must consider the implications of the reality of Non-Human Intelligences & UAP interacting with humanity throughout history, and the systemic cover-up of these facts that has been ongoing for decades.

I don't normally respond to off-topic comments (it's more fun when people comment about the actual material in a post), but I love thinking about the implications of aliens watching us or even interacting with our biosphere (for better or for worse).

I don't personally buy into the concept of some secret government cover-up, and for several reasons. Won't list them all here, but I think that while we can't trust the government agencies to necessarily have our best interests in mind (like the CIA and Project MKUltra) I also think they'd probably do a poor job of covering up something like having actual evidence of alien craft (and it wouldn't be just one government, but many—it'd be weird to assume that aliens would only come to the U.S.). I think it's more or less hopeful thinking to assume that any government could do a good job of hiding secret information on aliens, if they had some.

But there is a growing number of us in astrobiology and scientific fields who would love to see more rigorous scientific study of UAP. Even if I don't think it is aliens or time traveling humans, it's still worth considering.

The thing is, if you want to think scientifically about it all, then you have to have some level of skepticism and rationality in your approach. If I can be reasonable enough to consider that UAP could be aliens, can you find it in yourself to consider that they might not be?
