Great post! Let's hope if aliens come to Earth and try to communicate with us, they will favor an exchange with scientists before meeting with our politicians.
I honestly hope if they should come that they would be the kinds of beings who have no interest in war or our resources, but truly just want to say "hi" and maybe see if we can make an exchange of information.
